Assi Domain is a cardboard manufacturer in Basel Switzerland. The company wanted to create something out of cardboard that they could give to their clients as a corporate gift for the holidays. The 503 Pinhole camera DIY kit was such a success that they printed more and sold 500 to IBM Europe. They were used as holiday gifts to European executives. The Museum of Photography in Switzerland ordered it to be sold in their gift shop.
