EC2055 wanted to send a holiday card to all of the businesses and individuals that were helping to make the whole project move forward. After some brainstorming we decided that there was a nice similarity between what we were trying to communicate and the classic holiday story, It’s a Wonderful Life. In the story, the main character is a ‘normal’ guy that thinks he is insignificant. Through seeing what life would have been like without him he realizes that he has made a difference, just by being himself. Part of EC2055’s mission is to empower small business owners and residents to help make the county strong. It is the collected efforts of many people that make an area great. So we used images and words from our project as if it was a movie poster for It’s a Wonderful Life. We celebrated the contribution of each individual.
