The National Wildlife Federation is a non profit organization and therefore it depends on generous contributions from caring donors. This folder with inserts was designed to help large donors understand the importance of the ongoing work done by NWF. All of the photographs come from their own library of images and the messaging was already set into motion. My job as a designer was to choose the images and organize the information so that the message was clear and the information was readable. Sometimes the designer’s job is to be invisible. You want the reader to read and absorb the information, not get distracted by the design. The images and lay-out must reinforce the message and help the reader digest the information.
